The Foothills Midstream Area owns and operates midstream facilities from the Edson/Kaybob area all the way to the Alberta/B.C. border. The infrastructure consists of large diameter sour gas pipelines, compression, dehydration and processing.
Foothills Midstream Area pipelines are connected to multiple sour processing facilities resulting in flexible operations with high reliability. Foothills Midstream Area uses proprietary deeming models that allow the producer gas to be allocated to selected plants connected to the system. This means that gas entering the system is not solely restricted to physical flow of gas, but rather by deemed allocations. This allows producers to access working interest capacity at connected plants that would otherwise be unavailable.
