Talisman is proud to be part of Peru’s growing oil and gas industry. Talisman Peru began exploring in 2004 and currently has interests as operator in two onshore blocks and non-operator interests in two blocks covering a total area of 3.3 million hectares in the Maranon basin of northern Peru. Most of our activity has been in Block 64, where light oil was discovered in 2005 and confirmed in 2009.
In 2012, Talisman will continue to evaluate the Situche Central discovery and development options in Block 64.
