The combined company will reinforce and promote the “Zero accidents objective,” seeking to achieve optimal performance in all operations and protect our people, facilities and environmental surroundings.
We will help to meet the demand for hydrocarbons while operating in a responsible and transparent way. Managing the impacts of our activities, whether related to operational safety, environmental, ethical, social or worker performance is an important part of how we do business. Our goal is to create a working environment where we cause no harm to people and minimize our impact on the environment through conduct of safe and reliable operations.
It is paramount that we protect the health and safety of our employees and contractors at work, and minimize all potential impacts to communities as a result of our work.
Safe and reliable operations
Safe and reliable operations in all our activities is one of our company commitments. We implement processes that prevent incidents and injuries at work, and strive to continuously improve the process safety of our operations.
We are committed to environmental performance that meets or exceeds regulations in the areas where we operate. To do this, we seek to understand and then minimize our impact on air, land and water before and after commencing operations.
We deliver on our commitments and manage risk by relying on ethical practices and proper oversight of business conduct. Transparency and reporting are key elements of our governance. We measure and disclose both progress and areas of improvement via regular reporting of our performance, and we frequently conduct internal and third-party safety and environmental audits of our operations.
